Avid entertainers, our clients desired a backyard renovation that would allow them to expand cooking, dining, and lounging opportunities for their guests. KCRH developed a sequence of spaces that extended the indoor/outdoor relationship to the far corners of the property. A new porch structure provides a covered path to the enclosed vegetable garden, and an expansive, heavy beam pergola provides a protected outdoor cooking area. The final project allows our clients to gather produce, prep and cook their meals, dine, and relax by the fireplace all without leaving their back yard.
